The Cal/OSHA Advisory Committee meets at different locations in California usually on the first Thursday of overy other month, and begin at 9:30 a.m.
Contact Ed Callanan at ecallanan@dir.ca.gov or call him at (510) 268-7000 to get on their mailing list for actual notice of dates and locations of their meetings. By getting on their mailing list, you will ALSO be mailed the Cal/OSHA Advisory Committee meeting minutes, handouts, and new training materials. WORKSAFE usually holds a membership meeting after (brown bag lunch) the official Cal/OSHA Advisory Committee meetings. Click here for WORKSAFE meeting information. Be sure to call (510) 302-1027 or email us at worksafe@worksafe-cosh.org to confirm we are meeting.
Dates for 2009 Cal/OSHA Advisory Committee meetings are tentatively listed below. As of February 5, 2009, Cal/OSHA has not yet released a schedule for their Advisory Committee meetings:
Thursday January 9, 2009 - Oakland
Thursday March 5, OR Friday, March 6, 2009 - Los Angeles
Thursday May 7, 2009 - Fresno
Thursday, July 9, OR Friday July 10, 2009 - Los Angeles
Thursday September 10, 2009 - Oakland
Thursday November 5, 2009 - Los Angeles
Oakland meetings are held at the State Building at 1515 Clay Street Room 1304.
Los Angeles meetings are held at the Department of Water and Power at 111 North Hope Street Level "A" - Cafeteria Conference Center.
The Fresno meeting will be at the Fresno State Building, 2550 Mariposa Street (1st floor Auditorium).
AGENDAS are mailed about 2 weeks before the meeting date. Contact Cal/OSHA to get on their mailing list.
