Addressing Illegal Retaliation - Bay Area Meeting

Posted on Jan 5, 2015

WHAT: Bay Area Regional OSH Anti-retaliation Training & Discussion: Seeking Collaborative Solutions to Address Illegal Retaliation Against Workers Exercising Safety and Health Rights
WHEN: January 22, 2015  |  9:30-12:30 p.m.
WHERE: IBEW Local 617  |  1701 Leslie Street, San Mateo, CA

Worksafe invites you to a discussion about retaliation faced by workers when they report occupational health and safety (OSH) issues. The Bay Area meeting is the fourth regional meeting in California. The previous meetings were held in Los Angeles, Fresno, and San Diego.

Everywhere across the state workers face an environment in which their right to a healthy and safe workplace is being compromised by retaliatory employers or a hostile workplace culture that does not support the reporting of injuries, illness and safety hazards.
